The Durango Herald
Small Press strives
to work with local and regional authors; publish both non-fiction
and fiction books about the people,
places and events of the Four Corners; connect people through its
publications with the cultural,
geographic, historic, and environmental uniqueness of this region.
Our submission
requirements:
We require a completed Durango Herald Small Press Manuscript Submission
form
with all submitted manuscripts. Submission guidelines and forms are
available upon request.

After submission, your manuscript will be reviewed by the Durango
Herald Small Press editorial board.
Please allow 10-15 weeks for the review process. You will be notified
in writing of the review results.
How do we decide
which books to publish?
To some degree, our decision depends on what we have in the works,
and what we have recently published.
We try to remain open-minded when considering submissions, knowing
of course,
that we are only able to publish about 3 books a year.
We are not a large-volume publishing house, nor do we wish to be.
